From Lived Experience to Leadership
For Ben Mobbs, advocacy isn’t a slogan — it’s something he lives. As the Partnerships Director at The Fitout Studio, Ben understands the power of relationships and the impact that the right support can have at the right time.
Ben was chosen as an Everything Suarve Brand Ambassador because of his consistent drive to create change for young people who have faced challenges like the ones he’s experienced himself. He’s committed to making sure young people are not defined by their past, but supported into their next step.
As an ambassador, Ben is continually creating opportunities behind the scenes and in the community — helping generate corporate donations, building job opportunities, connecting young people with mentors, and using his voice to advocate for their potential. He stands alongside our young people, not above them — proving that change is possible and that support can become a turning point

Scaling responsibly, Ensuring growth does not compromise program quality or cultural safety.
Financial oversight, Guiding sustainable funding pathways and social enterprise models.
Community engagement, Supporting the acceptance of new facilities like the Retreat Centre, where local buy-in is essential.
Policy alignment, Helping demonstrate how Esuarve’s work meets state priorities in youth justice, housing, and employment.
By linking lived-experience leadership (Joe), organisational commitment (Camille), and governance oversight (the Board), Esuarve is building a model that is as accountable as it is compassionate.
For the young people we support, governance may seem distant but in reality, it is the backbone of their experience. Governance is what ensures mentors are trained and supported, what guarantees funding is used wisely, and what protects the integrity of the program they rely on.
For funders, government, and community partners, governance is reassurance, proof that Esuarve delivers real results with transparency and accountability. For our team, it is a framework that keeps us safe, supported, and focused on what matters most …. Our young people.

Respect for every voice at the table.
Integrity in how we manage resources and outcomes.
Trust built through transparency and accountability.
Empowerment by ensuring Esuarve has the structures it needs to grow and last for generations.
